Objective

KUK-e-Learn (MOOCs) is an initiative of Kurukshetra University aimed at making quality learning accessible and flexible for all. The platform provides learners with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills through self-paced, asynchronous online courses that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

Learning through KUK-e-Learn is Free for all learners. Learners who wish to obtain an e-Certificate upon successful completion of a course are required to pay a nominal e-Certification fee of ₹100 per course.

About KUK-e-Learn

Kurukshetra University is committed to expanding access to quality education through its KUK-e-Learn (MOOCs) platform. The asynchronous courses are designed for students, working professionals, and lifelong learners seeking flexible opportunities for academic enrichment and continuous skill development. The said UG Level courses are approved by Kurukshetra University which students can pursue while completing their regular UG degree program.

As education evolves in the digital era, KUK-e-Learn complements conventional education by enabling learners to acquire new knowledge and skills at their own pace.

Learning is Free – e-Certification at a Nominal Fee

There is no fee for accessing and completing the online learning content of these asynchronous courses.

Learners who successfully complete a course and wish to receive an e-Certificate from Kurukshetra University may obtain the same by paying a nominal e-Certification fee of ₹100 per course.

Credits assigned to a course may be considered for utilization if the learner subsequently registers or currently pursuing another programme at Kurukshetra University, subject to the applicable University rules and approval. Learners may also register for multiple courses simultaneously.

Registration Process

Learners can register for KUK-e-Learn by selecting the desired course and completing the online registration process.

1. The learner fills in the registration form and selects the desired asynchronous course from the drop-down list.

2. Registration for the asynchronous courses remains open throughout the week every month. Learners registered during each week will receive their Learning Management System (LMS) login credentials every Monday on their registered email ID.

3. After receiving the LMS credentials, learners can access the asynchronous course and its comprehensive learning resources and proceed with learning at their own pace.

Course Learning Resources:

Learners will access the course material through the KUK-e-Learn Portal/LMS.

The learning resources may include:

1. Self-Learning Material / Notes
2. Video Lectures
3. Web Resources

Assessment and Course Completion:

Learners will be assessed through the LMS as follows:

Passing Criteria: Minimum 40% aggregate marks.

e-Certification: A learner will be eligible for an e-Certificate upon:

1. Successfully completing the asynchronous course and meeting the prescribed passing criteria; and

2. Paying the e-Certification fee of ₹100 per course.

At the end of each month, Kurukshetra University will email eligible learners who have successfully passed the course and provide them with the payment link for e-Certification.

Important: Learning and course participation are free for all. The ₹100 fee is applicable only to learners who opt for an e-Certificate after successfully completing the course.

Successful completion of a KUK-e-Learn MOOC does not automatically entitle a learner to the award of a Degree or Diploma from Kurukshetra University.
