About KUK-e-Learn

KUK-e-Learn (MOOCs) is an initiative of Kurukshetra University designed to provide flexible, accessible and self-paced learning opportunities for students, working professionals and lifelong learners. Learners can enrol in available courses, access digital learning resources through the Learning Management System (LMS), complete prescribed assignments and appear for the scheduled online remote-proctored examination.

Learning through KUK-e-Learn is free. Learners who wish to obtain an e-Certificate from Kurukshetra University must complete the prescribed course requirements, register for the online examination, pay the examination fee of ₹100 per course, and successfully pass the course as per the prescribed passing criteria.

KUK-e-Learn Registration & Examination Cycle

KUK-e-Learn courses will operate through four yearly batches: March, June, September and December. Learners must complete registration, assignment submission and examination registration within the schedule applicable to their batch.

Important: The ₹100 examination fee is applicable per course for learners who register for the online examination and wish to become eligible for e-Certification after successful passing.

Registration, Learning & Certification Process

Step 1 – Register for a Course

Select the desired KUK-e-Learn course and complete the online registration process within the applicable batch registration window.

Step 2 – Access the LMS

Registered learners will receive access to the Learning Management System (LMS) to access course learning resources and begin self-paced learning. Access would be provided every Monday for earlier week registrations for respective batch.

Step 3 – Complete Learning & Assignments

Complete the prescribed learning activities and submit all required assignments on or before the Assignment Submission Last Date applicable to the batch.

Step 4 – Register for the Online Examination

Learners seeking certification must complete the Online Exam Registration Form and pay the examination fee of ₹100 per course within the applicable examination registration window.

Step 5 – Appear for the Online Remote-Proctored Examination

Appear for the scheduled online remote-proctored examination on the date applicable to the batch.

Step 6 – Receive e-Certificate

Learners who successfully complete the prescribed course requirements and pass the course as per the applicable passing criteria will be awarded an e-Certificate from Kurukshetra University.

Assessment & Course Completion

The course assessment structure will comprise two assignments and a final online remote-proctored examination. The overall assessment is out of 100 marks.

Passing Criteria: Minimum 40% aggregate marks, subject to university rules and any subsequent approved revision.

Important Information for Learners

1. Learning through KUK-e-Learn is free for all learners.
2. The examination fee is ₹100 per course and is payable only by learners registering for the online examination/certification process.
3. Learners must complete the prescribed assignments within the applicable batch timeline.
4. Only learners who successfully pass the course as per the prescribed passing criteria will be awarded the e-Certificate from Kurukshetra University.
5. Learners may register for multiple courses, subject to applicable University rules.
6. Any credit recognition, credit transfer or academic equivalence will be governed by applicable University rules and approvals.
7. Successful completion of an individual KUK-e-Learn course does not by itself constitute award of a Degree or Diploma from Kurukshetra University.
